Ernest Westbrooke's passion for boxing began at the age of 10, ignited by the guiding hand of his father, a seasoned professional in the sport. This early start laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong dedication to the sweet science.

In 1977, Ernest Westbrooke embarked on a journey as a trainer, channeling his expertise and love for the sport to groom fighters and hone their skills. In 1985, his pursuit of excellence led him to the Catskill Boxing Gym in Upstate New York, where he initially joined as a boxer before transitioning into the role of a trainer in the early 2000s.

A USA Boxing Sanctioned Trainer, Ernest Westbrooke is a distinguished figure in the boxing community, revered for his wealth of experience and knowledge. His extensive background both in the ring and in coaching has transformed him into a sought-after mentor and coach, influencing many aspiring pugilists over the years.

In 2010, Ernest Westbrooke expanded his impact with the creation of World Class Promotions, a platform that not only promoted the sport but also facilitated the annual Rumble in Catskills Boxing Competitions. These USA-sanctioned events drew amateur boxers from across the globe, creating a platform for them to showcase their skills and compete on an international stage. The Rumble in Catskills quickly became a staple in the boxing community, attaining wild success and further cementing Ernest Westbrooke's legacy as a stalwart in the world of boxing.
