Our World Class Training Camp is designed to help young athletes grow not only in their sport, but in character. At Rumble City Boxing Gym, our mission is to develop perseverance, delayed gratification, and intestinal fortitude, while teaching the true meaning of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Throughout the week, campers will train in basketball, boxing, and physical fitness, learning the core fundamentals that build strong, confident athletes.
Boxing Training
Our boxing instruction emphasizes safe, fundamental techniques such as:
Proper on-guard stance
Footwork and movement
Offensive and defensive strategies
Fundamentally sound punching techniques and combinations
Head movement and its importance in defense
Basketball Training
Athletes will focus on the foundations of the game, including:
Dribbling fundamentals
Shooting fundamentals
Defensive fundamentals
Game awareness and teamwork
Physical Fitness Development
Campers will also work on building overall athletic performance through:
Core strength
Total body strength
Cardio conditioning
Plyometric drills to improve explosiveness and agility
Beyond training, campers will enjoy a variety of fun camp activities that encourage teamwork and friendship, including:
Kickball
Baseball
Flag football
Swimming
Table games and other group activities
